Liquid Bahamas - Your Students SURVIVED their CHALLENGES

Parents:
Day 1: Be Unified
The challenge was to be unified, so that the church behave like a church.. that's how the world will know and believe in Him.  Started with a time of ministry at a Haitian church and the students first challenge was to put together a skit and two songs and a outreach message there.  Ha.. they did it. Followed by a canal activity where the students were divided into teams, go across a canal with pieces to assemble a bike.  The evening challenge is the student need to cook a meal together without the help of MARIA, our chef (Joe's mom).
Day 2: Be Ready
The challenge today is to be ready, in and out of season with the gospel of peace.  The activity - using the parable of the ten virgins as our key.  Each student was asked to carry their backpack and a lantern and be ready the whole day for their assignment, which is given to day around the clock.  Trust me, starting at 6am with lunges..... and scriptures could be a great start for some.  They also obediently follow us to another island for their adventure of faith.
Day 3: Be Loving
The challenge today is an individual challenge.  Can't leak out Patmos secrets, but each student was given a GOD given challenge to sharpen their faith, to test them about obedience, to push them to go further in their integrity, to give them assignments which they never thought they could achieve.  I hope to post photos soon.  (Can't put it up... without the right cable.  Please be patient with us... there was not ready internet access!!)  Those who love me will keep my commandments, and Christ will manifest himself to him.  My most favorite part is the 30 minutes we have to prepare an outreach, start from designing a skit and sharing the gospel at the dock.
Day 4: Be Pure
Pastor Chet gave a real good introduction of Purity through the Song of Solomons.  The main geist is how God wants in his child a blameless vessel; spirit, body and soul.  Followed by a time of ministry and outreach at the AIDS Camp.  Oh My Goodness... we met and talked with so many people that are broken from sin and how they now believed in the goodness of Christ.
The challenge will continue and will talk to you guys soon.

PRAY FOR ALL OF US..  New Year's Resolution started with a camp fire at the end of the night.
